La Baracca

This was suggested by our very good friends in Ostrava, who we dined with. Every course was perfectly cooked and presented and the waiter professional and fun. Could decide on great selection of mains so had to have a small portion of the meatball marinara as an additional starter. So glad we made it here, and thank you.

We visited La Baracca for lunch and it was absolutely the right choice! The restaurant impressed us with both its atmosphere and the quality of the food. What we ordered: • Steak with roasted potatoes and pepper sauce – the meat was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The roasted potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The pepper sauce added a bold, creamy touch that complemented the dish beautifully. • Pasta with shrimp – light and flavorful, with juicy shrimp and a well-balanced sauce rich in garlic, olive oil, and herbs. Delicious and satisfying. • Tomato pasta with parmesan – a simple dish, but done exceptionally well. The tomato sauce was rich and full-bodied, and the freshly grated parmesan finished it off perfectly. For dessert: • Panna cotta with berry sauce and fresh fruit – creamy, smooth, and just the right amount of sweet. The berry topping and fresh fruit added a lovely, refreshing contrast. A perfect end to the meal. Overall: La Baracca is a fantastic spot for lunch – elegant, flavorful, and with great attention to detail. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere very inviting. We’ll definitely be coming back!
